Get ready for surprising stories and powerful metaphors that will change the way you see your work in relation to your community.

CREATIVE INQUIRY TO CIVIC IMPACT

This keynote will use Joseph’s recent commissioned project by the Guggenheim Museum and YBCA’s model of the art space as social incubator as case studies for discussion. Whose responsibility is it to *steward* inspiration in civic life? How do we strategically integrate artists in our systemic practices, and not just in our programmatic ones? Joseph suggests a response that mirrors his active role in making performance for opera, for stage, and for urban public sites.
